You’ve Got Questions? We’ve Got Answers
Sheryl Patton, the Mill Valley Police Department’s CSO Sheryl Patton responding to a resident’s email queryCommunity Services Officer, gets many questions from residents about law enforcement, safety and other police issues. She has been gathering the most pertinent questions and her responses for publishing in the Mill Valley Herald, the town’s local newspaper. Since the refurbishing of the MVPD web site, her Q&A;’s have also been published on this site, and new additions generally are posted every month.
In July, our CSO Officer joined other city and county personnel to staff the Public Safety Fun Zone at the Marin County Fair. Besides demonstrating safety procedures such as the correct installation of child car seats, she was asked a lot of questions by visitors about safety issues and law enforcement.
You can read some of these questions and Patton’s responses on our July 2006 In the News page, and you can view prior month’s Q&A;’s from our main In the News page. The In the News page can be viewed anytime by clicking on the News link in the Communications section on the left side of any page on our site.
